Verna stone impregnation is an effective protection for both limestone and marble. It penetrates the pores of the stone and makes the surface water- and oil-repellent, without forming a film or changing the colour of the stone.
Verna Protect is applied to the top of the tiles after grouting, once the stone has dried completely. A 950 ml bottle covers roughly 9 m² of limestone or 18 m² of marble.
Verna Pre-Protect is applied before the tiles are set, to all sides and edges of the tile. It is particularly recommended in shower areas, on floors and walls alike, and protects against moisture that would otherwise travel into the stone from below. A 950 ml bottle covers roughly 4.5 m² of limestone or 9 m² of marble.
