Borghamn limestone grey-brown 10×10 cm – 4.8 m² (748 EUR)

Grey-brown limestone from Borghamn by Lake Vättern, in a 10×10 cm format. The 4.8 m² lot includes both planed and brushed tiles, which can be laid separately or mixed in a checkerboard or diamond pattern. Every tile is unique, with variations between grey and warm brown.

Natural stone is not laid like ceramic tiles. Three things your tiler needs to know:

Adhesive, grout and silicone must be made for natural stone. Ordinary tile adhesive can cause discolouration.
The floor must dry for at least 15 days after grouting before it is cleaned and sealed with Verna Protect. Underfloor heating is switched on only after that.
In showers the tiles are sealed before laying with Verna Pre-Protect.

Limestone and marble are easier to care for than many think. Seal the stone once it is laid, mop with a mild cleaner made for natural stone, and avoid acidic products such as lemon, vinegar and ordinary descalers. Minor marks become part of the stone’s patina over time.

Stone is delivered on a pallet to the property boundary or entrance, without carrying in. The carrier gives notice before delivery – do arrange help with unloading.

Shipping is calculated by weight and shown at checkout before you pay. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, customs handling can add a few days.
